Job Description

Champion Industrial is currently seeking a knowledgeable and driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare estimates for HVAC mechanical projects, utilizing expertise in both wet and dry side systems. This role will involve reviewing plans and specifications to determine project scope, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for HVAC mechanical projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Review plans and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
• Manage and coordinate with clients to fully understand project needs and draft comprehensive proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate project success.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
• Use bidding software (Trimble Auto Bid Sheet metal) to prepare and submit competitive bids.
• Obtaining material, labor, subs, and equipment costs to produce accurate bids.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC sales or project estimation.
• Proficiency with project estimating software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical project requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Familiarity with industry Standards and codes related to HVAC systems.
