Position Purpose :

The Sales Director USA promotes Orion Health and the sale of its products and services by achieving the Sales goals defined and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. They help in fulfilling Orion Health’s purpose - to revolutionise global healthcare so that every individual receives the perfect care for them.

Success in this role looks like…

  • Achieves quarterly and annual sales targets;
  • Reports completed accurately and timely;
  • Works independently as well as being an effective team player with other internal groups including Management, Development and other Sales colleagues.

Key Relationships :

VP North America, Sales Team, Product Specialists all of Orion Health and External Clients, Potential Clients and Vendors.

Essential Functions :

Sales Planning & Execution

  • Identification and targeting of the Ideal Customer Profile
  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Pipeline creation through proactive prospecting
  • Strategic sales planning, including management of internal resources needed during each step of the sales cycle
  • Secure introductory meetings with C-level audiences including CEO, CIO, CMO, CMIO, etc.
  • Development and closure of sales into new business and existing accounts in order to meet or exceed assigned quota
  • Negotiating terms of sale and services with customer
  • Follow Orion Health standard sales process
  • Coordinate product demonstrations with definition of key product needs aligned
  • Use sales tools provided to produce timely and accurate forecasts as a basis for pre and post sales planning
  • Communicate effectively with intended audience
  • Utilise CRM tools
  • Behavioural and Technical Capabilities :

  • Understands existing clients, strategic short term and long term goals to position Orion Health solutions and future sales opportunities
  • Develops strong relationship with existing clients to ensure those clients can be used as references
  • Speaks, writes and presents effectively and persuasively across communication settings
  • Targets communications appropriately for the audience
  • Explains information in a way that is easy to understand
  • Confidently makes presentations to target audiences
  • Assists with negotiating successful agreements
  • Proactive in building and maintaining a network of effective relationships with people inside and outside his / her group
  • Provides others with timely information and support
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple, diverse projects and sales events simultaneously
  • Initiative and adaptability
  • Ability to motivate a team
  • Relevant Experience :

  • Health Tech sales experience preferred or relevant work experience in an IT environment
  • Knowledge of sales techniques, strategies, methodologies
  • Knowledge of current information systems technology and of healthcare industry and trends
  • Experience meeting large quotas and healthcare sales ($500,000 average deal)
  • Comfortable selling at high levels in the healthcare market (CEO, COO, CIO, CFO level)
  • Proven track record of growing sales and market share
  • Good negotiation, conflict management & customer service skills
  • Consistent closing techniques throughout the sales cycle
  • Planning and organisation skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be an independent traveller with demonstrated ability to arrange and manage personal travel arrangements
  • Travel is required
  • Qualifications & Education :

  • 5 years of verifiable enterprise sales success, preferably in the Healthcare IT industry (hospital clinical information systems) or physician offices
  • LI-hybrid
