Position Purpose :
The Sales Director USA promotes Orion Health and the sale of its products and services by achieving the Sales goals defined and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. They help in fulfilling Orion Health’s purpose - to revolutionise global healthcare so that every individual receives the perfect care for them.

- Achieves quarterly and annual sales targets;
- Reports completed accurately and timely;
- Works independently as well as being an effective team player with other internal groups including Management, Development and other Sales colleagues.
Key Relationships :
VP North America, Sales Team, Product Specialists all of Orion Health and External Clients, Potential Clients and Vendors.
Essential Functions :
Sales Planning & Execution
Identification and targeting of the Ideal Customer ProfileAssist with the development and execution of marketing campaignsPipeline creation through proactive prospectingStrategic sales planning, including management of internal resources needed during each step of the sales cycleSecure introductory meetings with C-level audiences including CEO, CIO, CMO, CMIO, etc.Development and closure of sales into new business and existing accounts in order to meet or exceed assigned quotaNegotiating terms of sale and services with customerFollow Orion Health standard sales processCoordinate product demonstrations with definition of key product needs alignedUse sales tools provided to produce timely and accurate forecasts as a basis for pre and post sales planningCommunicate effectively with intended audienceUtilise CRM toolsBehavioural and Technical Capabilities :
Understands existing clients, strategic short term and long term goals to position Orion Health solutions and future sales opportunitiesDevelops strong relationship with existing clients to ensure those clients can be used as referencesSpeaks, writes and presents effectively and persuasively across communication settingsTargets communications appropriately for the audienceExplains information in a way that is easy to understandConfidently makes presentations to target audiencesAssists with negotiating successful agreementsProactive in building and maintaining a network of effective relationships with people inside and outside his / her groupProvides others with timely information and supportAbility to understand and communicate technical conceptsAbility to manage multiple, diverse projects and sales events simultaneouslyInitiative and adaptabilityAbility to motivate a teamRelevant Experience :
Health Tech sales experience preferred or relevant work experience in an IT environmentKnowledge of sales techniques, strategies, methodologiesKnowledge of current information systems technology and of healthcare industry and trendsExperience meeting large quotas and healthcare sales ($500,000 average deal)Comfortable selling at high levels in the healthcare market (CEO, COO, CIO, CFO level)Proven track record of growing sales and market shareGood negotiation, conflict management & customer service skillsConsistent closing techniques throughout the sales cyclePlanning and organisation skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be an independent traveller with demonstrated ability to arrange and manage personal travel arrangementsTravel is requiredQualifications & Education :
5 years of verifiable enterprise sales success, preferably in the Healthcare IT industry (hospital clinical information systems) or physician officesLI-hybrid
