Job Description
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
- Review and analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine scope and pricing.
- Develop quantity takeoffs and pricing strategies to optimize project bids.
- Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine estimates.
- Lead and mentor junior estimators, providing training and guidance.
- Participate in design-assist and value engineering discussions.
- Ensure deadlines are met and proposals are completed with precision.
- Visit project sites as needed to gain firsthand insight into job requirements.
