Job Description
- Lead and manage the commercial title underwriting team, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
- Oversee underwriting decisions for complex commercial real estate transactions and provide expert guidance on title issues.
- Develop and implement underwriting strategies that align with business goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, clients, and industry professionals to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state real estate title insurance regulations.
- Provide mentorship and training to underwriting professionals to enhance team expertise.
- Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory updates, and competitor strategies to optimize underwriting policies.
Qualifications
- JD required and admission to the Florida Bar.
- 5 years of title insurance underwriting experience, with a strong focus on complex commercial real estate transactions.
- Expertise in federal and state regulations related to real estate title insurance.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- Experience overseeing title underwriting operations at a regional or national level.
- Strong business acumen and ability to make strategic underwriting decisions.
- National commercial title experience preferred.
