Orion Solutions is working with a top tier 3PL logistics provider that specializes in the consumer-packaged goods sector. We are seeking an Enterprise Sales Executive to join their sales team. This is an individual contributor / outside sales role that will focus on selling our 3PL brokerage and technology solutions within the CPG vertical. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets to meet planned objectives and develop strategic sales strategies to align with company goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Generating sales leads, soliciting new accounts and increasing services for current customers through phone and e-mail communications, face to face meetings, along with tradeshows and other networking events
  • Prospecting and onboarding new customers to build a robust client portfolio.
  • Developing and managing new customers while answering questions and resolving problems
  • Collaborating with internal departments to guarantee industry’s leading customer service on every shipment
  • Understanding specific technology platforms: TMS and other web-based systems
  • Maintaining an organized and updated pipeline of prospects by updating CRM system with client details, sales activities and follow-up actions
  • Seeking out additional, outside resources to further your learning and development of sales and logistics
  • Travel to retail trade shows.
  • Staying up to date on the industry including market conditions, industry advancements, trends and predictions. College degree in any field is a plus, BUT NOT REQUIRED

What you need to be successful:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in transportation or logistics industry.
  • Proven ability to speak to a diverse group of professionals in-person and over the phone.
  • Proven strong written communication skills through e-mail, collaboration platforms such as Microsoft TEAMS and Zoom, social media and presentation software.
  • Driven, enthusiastic, self-motivated, competitive and money motivated.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
