What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Sales Representative position at Orion Talent?
The primary responsibility of the Area Sales Representative will be to interface with and support established customers, as well as seek out and develop new business. You will deliver service, support, and parts replenishment for industrial laundries. You will also assist in troubleshooting mechanical equipment for customers and providing technical support. You will gather information, examine complaints or issues, identify solutions and be the primary face of the company to customers. The opportunity for promotion and progression exists to take on roles such as district and regional manager based on continued performance, delivering quality customer support, and developing business opportunities. Additional duties or projects may be assigned as needed. After initial hiring, you will receive on the job training in a fully paid “apprentice” type program for several weeks prior to working alone in your territory.
Requirements :
- Experience with mechanical systems, hands on mechanical aptitude (could be with pumps, motors, electrical systems, etc)
- Solutions based mindset – How do we solve this issue for a customer?
- Strong oral and written communication skills; professional and relatable
- Computer literacy with windows-based programs
- Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as with or direct a team as needed
