Job Summary
The Superintendent is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing field operations management for all projects from start to finish. This role plays a critical part in the strategic growth of the company through effective leadership and collaboration with the executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety standards are implemented at jobsites and enforced by on-site leadership in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain high customer service standards through personal leadership and managed employees.
- Promote the company image by exercising sound and ethical business practices in relation to customers, suppliers, employees, and the public.
- Manage field leaders, including Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, and trade partner site leads.
- Coordinate and schedule labor assignments for weekly projects and tasks according to Project Managers' schedules.
- Oversee and implement project quality standards, ensuring installation submittal standards are met.
- Manage site areas, company tools, and equipment.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce production standards for self-performed work to ensure efficient and effective operation.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in coordinating manpower commitments via networks and alliances in the local area.
- Communicate opportunities or issues regarding production, technology, budgets, etc., to Estimating Team, Project Managers, and others.
- FOLLOW AND PROMOTE ALL GUIDELINES, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES ESTABLISHED BY THE COMPANY.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, health, and safety laws and ordinances, including but not limited to ASHE, OSHA, MDH, and the DOT.
Requirements
- Candidates must have strong project management experience working in/with the healthcare industry or facility management.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with project scheduling and budget management.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- This role involves handling 12-20 trades and leading $2-10M projects, with up to 25 projects at a time.
- Candidates should have experience using Microsoft Office and Project or P6 products, along with other desirable attributes.
- Outstanding ability to lead, communicate, and work as a team across the organization in all project phases.
Salary : $130,000 - $180,000
