Orion Talent seeks a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure facility operations comply with permits, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Review testing procedures, site history, and waste descriptions for contaminated soil acceptance.
- Assist in approval processes for new and ongoing projects to ensure material meets acceptance criteria.
- Manage and evaluate inbound job files, approve jobs in CORE, and communicate with customers as needed.
- Perform compliance sampling for treated material, review post-treatment sample data, and ensure permit standards are met.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Environmental Health and Safety.
- Experience: 2-5 years in an Environmental, Health and Safety role.
- Skills: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA), excellent verbal and written communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- License: Current driver's license with a clean driving record.
