Orion Talent is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician - Electrical to join our team. As a leading provider of critical power solutions, we require individuals with extensive knowledge and experience in electrical systems installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Installing, commissioning, maintaining, repairing, and providing emergency support on Batteries, Chargers, Inverters, Static Switches, and Maintenance Bypass Switches for Commercial, Telecom, and Industrial systems at customers' sites
- Discussing technical problems related to maintenance or operation of equipment with internal teams
- Maintaining excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives, and others as appropriate
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have:
- 4-5 years of technical training and hands-on experience in an electronic/electrical role, preferably with the US Navy or Airforce
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Oscilloscopes, Multi-meters, Hydrometers, and Computer Skills
- Software skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
