Compensation : $90-105K

Travel : Some travel required between sites (CT, MA), approximately 2-3 hours apart. Preference for CT[1]based candidates, but relocation assistance is available.The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and profitability of the non-hazardous soil
treatment, processing, and recycling facility. This role includes the management of both the
Connecticut and Massachusetts sites, ensuring proper operational oversight, environmental compliance, and long-term
capital planning.
Primary Responsibilities :
Manage all operations and maintenance activities for the non-hazardous soil treatment facility.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.Directly and indirectly manage a team of managers, supervisors, and hourly facility processing staff, includinglaborers, scale operators, thermal plant board operators, equipment operators, administrative staff, and
technical support roles.
Responsible for overall facility Profit and Loss, transportation logistics, and long-term capital project planningand management.
Oversee facility Project Management for site development and maintenance, including large-scaleconstruction projects and process unit projects.
Build market position by expanding existing backend options and developing new backend solutions.Maintain positive relationships with state and local regulatory agencies, ensuring facility compliance with allrelevant regulations.
Recommend new work practices, control expenditures, and coordinate the flow of data between managementand the facility.
Generate reports for senior management and regulatory agencies.Work closely with the safety and environmental teams to ensure a safe, compliant, and healthy workenvironment focused on continuous improvement.

Basic Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in environmental / industrial engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or businessmanagement.
5 years of experience in environmental or facility operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.Preferred Qualifications :
Ability to plan and supervise the work of others, motivate teams, and work with various levels within andoutside the organization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and interpret technical data andinformation.
Strong background in thermal combustion processes, electrical and mechanical aptitude, and chemistry.Knowledge of Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations and RCRA hazardous waste applicability.Experience in the operation of treatment, processing, recycling, and / or transfer facilities.
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
