A leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced overnight (7 PM-7 AM) Production Supervisor to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is critical in driving safety, quality, productivity, and process optimization while ensuring seamless daily operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and support teams of 30 production employees, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and performance.
- Oversee 12-hour shifts (3-2-2-3 schedule), ensuring that production goals, quality standards, and safety regulations are met.
- Spend 70% of time on the production floor and 30% on administrative tasks, including tracking production data, performance metrics, and attendance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing processes with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) policies and enforce workplace safety standards.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in high-volume production; military leadership is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage and develop large teams while optimizing workflow and productivity.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations; experience in the tire or automotive industry is a plus.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts and overtime as needed.
