Position Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to finish and repair surfaces, concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, curbs, or other structures to specified textures. This includes knowledge of how to use concrete tools, such as, electric equipment tools, a bull float, various trowels, smart levels, and edger. It includes working at different concrete crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills, patching and finishing vertical concrete.

Specific Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities
- Smooths and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete.
- Finishes concrete surfaces, wets, and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish.
- Removes rough defective spots from concrete surfaces and patches holes with fresh materials.
- Molds expansion joints and edges.
- Breaks up and repairs old concrete surfaces.
- Operates machinery including mechanized boom lifts with articulating baskets (man-lifts).
- Selects materials to match the task.
- Reads blueprints.
- Wears respiratory protection.
- Wears Tyvek or similar body-covering suits.
- Maintains Daily Time submittal and Equipment Daily Inspection Reports.
- Maintains equipment and tools to ensure long lasting use.
