The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer to play a critical role in launching and growing Orion180’s mortgage business. This position is ideal for a seasoned mortgage professional who not only excels in loan origination but is also eager to contribute to the foundation of a high-growth mortgage lender.
This is more than a sales role—it’s a chance to help build something from the ground up . As a founding loan officer, you will leverage your expertise, licensing, and industry knowledge to drive early success, assist in structuring operational workflows, and influence product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Origination & Sales
- Generate and maintain a pipeline of residential mortgage loans through referrals, marketing efforts, and existing client relationships.
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience.
- Analyze credit, income, and asset documentation to determine loan eligibility and structuring.
- Stay up-to-date with mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure loans are processed and closed efficiently.
