This is a remote role strictly for candidates within the United States.
Position Overview : As a Data Analyst at Orionyx Engineering Ltd. , you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across various engineering projects. You will collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to analyze data trends, develop reports, and contribute to data-driven strategies that enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Data Collection and Management :
Gather and organize large sets of structured and unstructured data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
Utilize statistical methods and analytical techniques to interpret complex data sets related to engineering projects, performance metrics, and operational efficiency.
Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate findings to stakeholders in an accessible manner.
Work closely with engineering teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for ongoing projects.
Develop predictive models to forecast project timelines, resource allocation, and potential risks based on historical data.
Identify opportunities for automation in data collection and reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
Conduct regular audits of data quality and reporting processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Bachelors degree in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
Proficiency in SQL for database management and querying.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
What We Offer :
Job Types : Full-time
Pay : From $23.50 - $30.50 per hour
Schedule : Monday to Friday (8 hours daily)
Expected hours : 40 per week
