Safety Program Support
- Assist in the development, review, and update of safety procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Support the implementation of corrective actions for identified safety concerns.
- Collect, organize, and analyze safety data, including incident reports and near-miss events.
- Create and maintain safety metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership review.
- Help coordinate and deliver safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and micro-learning initiatives.
- Develop safety communication materials, such as posters, newsletters, and digital content, to promote safety awareness.
- Participate in incident investigations, documenting findings and recommendations.
- Learn and assist with root cause analysis for safety incidents.
- Gain exposure to OSHA standards and other safety regulations applicable to the workplace.
- Support the maintenance of safety documentation and compliance records.
- Work closely with safety professionals, supervisors, and employees to foster a culture of safety.
- Attend safety meetings and contribute to discussions on safety strategies and improvements.
Education:
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
