Responsibilities
As a successful Area Sales Manager, you will posses the following abilities and will be responsible for:
- Directing the effective activity of multi-unit branch sales teams in Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas to achieve the assigned sales performance goals
- Training the sales teams and service specialists on how to utilize all sales tools and how to identify sales opportunities
- Working in the field with the sales teams to evaluate and improve their sales skills and conducting appropriate audits to ensure all tools are being utilized and procedures are being followed
- Assisting with the recruiting, selecting and retaining of sales employees
- Exceptional people development skills, with a proven track record of sales leadership development of others, to include field evaluations, addressing coaching opportunities and training
- Inspirational sales leadership skills, with development of a motivated, multi-unit team dedicated to improving customer service and retention through continual training and follow through on our commitment
- Dynamic sales leadership skills including successful revenue generation and growth through motivation, holding teams accountable for results and daily check in of activities
- Operational leadership skills, with experience in managing a sales budget and strategically investing in growth with balancing expense margins

Qualifications
What do you need to be successful?
- Valid driver’s license required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
- Ability to work in the field independently and interact with our great customers
What will my work environment be like?
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
