Job Summary
Orkin Pest Control is currently looking for individuals for our Termite Technician position. This is an entry-level position that could develop into something much more. This position is ideal for the candidate that wants to be a part of a rock solid company providing a valuable service to customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
This position requires someone that is not afraid of getting their hands dirty. Someone that is willing to work hard, learn a new trade and take care of our customers and inspect for wood destroying organisms. Treats structure to Orkin standards, Label Requirements and State Requirements.
This position is responsible for Termite work. Technicians will follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at each stop. (A company vehicle is provided.) They will explain the steps and procedures to be taken in providing the service to our customers. Conduct a thorough interior and exterior inspection of the building to be treated and conducting final inspections prior to providing treatment.
Qualifications and Skills
Although prior pest control experience is a plus; however Orkin is rated by Training Magazine as one of the 125 Best Training Companies.
Successful candidates will have good communication skills, the ability to learn our business and have excellent customer service skills. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check including a drug screen and physical
