Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and organized
- Take patient medical history and vital signs accurately
- Administer injections, medications, and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records
- Provide outstanding customer service and patient care
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a busy office setting & EMR
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
- Ability to work in a team setting as well as take lead working individually
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Medical Assistant certification is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
