Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and prepared for use in a hotel environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to our guests' overall experience.
Duties
- Launder and dry clean various items including linens, uniforms, and guest clothing.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items for distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling chemicals and equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or dry cleaning environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
