Spine and Body Inc. one of the fastest growing regenerative medical practices in Florida, is excited to announce it is looking for a part-time PA/NP to help with the care of patients 2-3 days a week in Kissimmee. Option to add an extra clinic day at nearby clinic if we expand, if interested.
Orlando Resorts Spine and Body is a non-surgical regenerative medicine practice in the Celebration area of Kissimmee, Fl. Our goal is to help patients with arthritis, sports-related injuries and chronic joint pain without the use of surgery, steroids, or pain meds.
Orlando Resorts Spine and Body is an Integrative Medical Practice. PA/NP must have good bedside manners while interacting with the patient, providing quality care while also ensuring they have a positive experience. Must convey confidence in regenerative medicine and have good communication skills.
Qualifications include:
- Knowledge and belief in the potential of regenerative therapies to help patients avoid surgery.
- Specialty in Pain Management, Ortho, Sports Medicine
- Performing orthopedic-focused exams
- Experience administering joint injections in an out-patient setting
- BMAC (bone marrow aspirate procedures) experience a plus
- Ability to work with patients from diverse backgrounds, work with clinic staff in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Must have active Florida PA/NP license
- No Nights, No Weekends, No On-Call
- 1-3 days a week from 9am-6pm.
Responsibilities
He/she is able to perform advanced or specialized nursing practice and the performance of acts of medical diagnosis and treatment
Supports the mission, vision and values of the practice
Responsible for working in a safe and protective manner at all times keeping in mind that safety and environmental hazards are the responsibility of all employees for themselves, other staff members and patients
Acts as a role model by delivering excellent care to our patients and families
Participates in orientation and continuing education programs for staff and multidisciplinary personnel, which are relevant to the clinical specialty
Applies advanced clinical expertise (clinical skills) within the context of the integrated medical environment
Participates in the formulation of Standards of Care, Protocols, procedures and structure standards
Initiates the application of research findings to daily clinical practice
Provides creative and innovative leadership to members of the staff for the improvement of practice, patient outcome, taking into consideration pertinent professional, economical and social trends
Initiates consultations to other services as authorized
Provides education and counseling of patient regarding recommended treatments.
Collaborates with the Administrator and Manager in planning and implementing strategic initiatives
Collaborates with other clinical staff on care planning issues for complex patients
Collaboration with multidisciplinary health team members to provide comprehensive care
Provides educational programs/information to patients.
Provides expertise and support to Practice
Utilizes research findings as a basis for practice and improving processes
Assumes responsibility for own personal and professional development
Applies knowledge related to growth and development status when interacting with all patients.
Uses practice's criteria to report suspected abuse or neglect
Attends in services and is compliant with essential education without prompting from manager
Performs other duties as assigned
More Qualifications
Has working knowledge of Standards of Care and Standards of Practice
Two to three (2-3) years’ experience in clinical specialty area
Direct clinical experience in past two (2) years
Has experience in intra articular joint injections
