TITLE: Biology Teacher (9-12)

About the Position:
We are seeking a highly qualified Biology Teacher to join our dynamic team for the upcoming academic year. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a rigorous and engaging curriculum that prepares students for the Biology End-of-Course (EOC) exam and fosters a lifelong love of learning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver innovative lesson plans aligned with the biology curriculum and state standards.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods, including hands-on labs, technology integration, and differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Effectively assess student learning through various methods, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, guidance counselors, and parents to ensure student success.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in biology education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field.
- Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Biology (grades 6-12)
- Demonstrated experience teaching Biology or a similar rigorous science course.
- Strong understanding of scientific concepts and methods.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Commitment to student success and fostering a love of science.
