Are you ready to launch your legal career in a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating environment? As an Associate Attorney at Orlans Law Group, you will be at the forefront of groundbreaking legal work. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited:
Document Review: Dive deep into legal documents, uncovering critical details that drive case strategies.
Document Preparation: Craft compelling legal documents, from pleadings to motions to correspondences that set the stage for success.
Court Hearings: Step into the courtroom and represent our clients with confidence and poise.
Client Interaction: Building strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert guidance and support.
Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research to stay ahead of the curve and ensure our clients’ interests are protected.
Case Management: Take charge of case files, ensuring meticulous organization and timely execution.
Settlement and Negotiations: Master the art of negotiation, securing favorable settlements that exceed client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Admitted to the Virginia bar; additional bar admissions a plus
- Virginia foreclosure experience
- Review foreclosure documents
- Attend sales and in-person court appearances as needed
- A proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Impeccable attention to detail and organization prowess.
- Strong negotiation skills and a knack for achieving win-win outcomes.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Technology Required:
Position requires Strong Windows and MS Windows and Office (including Word, Outlook, and Excel) experience required; knowledge of Adobe/Nuance Power PDF; being comfortable with new technologies/websites and should be an advanced technology/computer user.
