We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN/RN to provide one-on-one care for anindividual student with specific health needs in a Vermont public school setting. The idealcandidate will be responsible for ensuring the student's health and safety throughout the schoolday, administering medications and treatments as required, and collaborating with school staff toensure a safe and supportive learning environment. This position requires a strong understandingof pediatric healthcare and the ability to work closely with students, families, and schoolpersonnel.Key Responsibilities: Provide direct one-on-one nursing care to an individual student in accordance with thestudent's healthcare plan. Monitor the student's physical, emotional, and mental health needs during school hours.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, medical interventions as needed. Document and maintain accurate health records and logs in compliance with schoolpolicies and state regulations. Collaborate with the school nurse Communicate effectively with the students family and school staff about any changes inthe students health status or care needs. Provide emergency care when necessary, including first aid and CPR, in the event ofhealth-related incidents or emergencies.
Assist the student with daily activities and mobility needs, ensuring their participation inthe school community. Participate in meetings with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers as part of thestudent's ongoing care and educational planning. Stay current with best practices in school-based nursing care and comply with all relevantstate and local regulations.Qualifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with current, active licensurein the state of Vermont. Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
Previous pediatric nursing experience or experience working in a school setting preferred. Knowledge of basic health conditions, emergency care protocols, and medicationadministration. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positiverelationships with students, families, and school staff.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, or assist students as needed for mobility or physical tasks.
