What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Aide (PCA)-Newfane Learning Center-(1406) position at Orleans/Niagara BOCES?
Anticipated initial assignment is Newfane Learning Center Newfane, New York. The individual will provide services in programs of special education. The individual will need the ability to take direction, be flexible, be patient, and work collaboratively as a team member. The individual should have knowledge of or experience with students with disabilities. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS) and de-escalation training is preferred. Regarding physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position, requirements may include the abilities to regularly and repetitively stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, crawl, and kneel. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The assignment is subject to change. The anticipated starting salary range is $19.38 - $21.40 per hour depending on experience. Excellent benefits package.
