Nursing Home Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the operations of our senior care facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to residents and managing the day-to-day functions of the facility. This is a busy 60-bed running, with over 50% skilled mix. Knowledge of running a PDPM meeting and HMO management is a must. You must have excellent customer service, rounding and visiting new admissions, and understanding staffing scheduling and PPDs.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of senior care services and operations within the nursing home
- Develop and implement care plans for residents in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Manage budgeting, financial acumen, and billing processes
- Supervise staff members, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate with medical professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff

Skills:

- Experience in senior care or related field
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting and financial management
- Proficient in supervising and leading teams effectively
- Knowledge of operations management within a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with home care, assisted living, and working with people with developmental disabilities
- Ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs
