Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, managing loads, preparing pallets, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires the ability to operate equipment such as dollies, manage shipping printouts, and occasionally drive to nearby locations for deliveries or pickups. A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
• Use dollies and other equipment to move heavy items safely within the warehouse.
• Manage printouts for shipping and receiving, ensuring accurate order processing.
• Prepare and wrap pallets for shipping, ensuring items are secure and properly labeled.
• Maintain an organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves and managing storage areas.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
• Occasionally drive a company vehicle to nearby locations for deliveries or pickups.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed, including product staging and returns processing.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to use equipment such as dollies and pallet jacks safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory management and shipping processes is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed (up to 50 lbs.).
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
