POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Receivable Analyst is an entry level position that is responsible for Accounts Receivable transactions for all Ornua Ingredients North America (OINA). locations. This role will ensure that all transactions are recorded and reported in a timely fashion. This role also serves as a liaison for all customer service-related inquiries and has daily communication with internal and external departmental peers.
Schedule Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm, overtime as necessary
Wage $20 -$22 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for accurate and timely cash posting of accounts receivable balances.
Preparation, processing and dissemination of invoices that are to be paid to the company.
Accessing company banking information to report on the cash received each day and reporting those findings to management within the company.
Analyze company accounts for accuracy.
Create credit memos for customers and notify them in an expeditious manner.
Accurately enter data into Microsoft Dynamics SL to ensure proper tracking of daily transactions.
Acts as the point of contact for all customer questions pertaining to Accounts Receivable information.
Interacts with various departments to determine freight rates and problem solve as any issues may arise.
Provide back up to other accounting department duties.
Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma
Associate degree preferred
1 - 3 years Account Receivable experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY:
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Excellent typing and 10 key skills
Basic command of addition, subtraction, division and multiplication
Work as a member of a team
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and act upon them
Time management skills
Document management
Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information
Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail
Maintain excellent attendance
EQUIPMENT:

Scanner/fax/printer/copier
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Walk occasionally as needed to move about inside the office to access file cabinets,
office machinery, etc.
Use hands/fingers to handle or feel, Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare office related items
Constantly operates a computer, phone and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy
machine, computer printer, etc.
Communicate verbally with employees and customers.
Vision requirements include reading computer screens, identifying colors, anticipating employees and visitors.
Ability to lift and carry office related items up 25 pounds as needed in the office (supplies)
Works in general office conditions regularly
May be exposed to general manufacturing operations requiring personal protective equipment such as uniform, bump cap (hard hat), safety glasses and hearing protection
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional local travel
Rare travel to other WSI locations
