Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Line Cook. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing/cooking food in accordance with the restaurant's recipes, quality, and presentation standards. Daily tasks include setting up and stocking stations with necessary supplies, preparing ingredients for various dishes, cooking menu items, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. The Line Cook will also collaborate with the kitchen team during special events, maintain cleanliness, and comply with food safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Culinary skills in food preparation, product knowledge, cooking techniques, meat/seafood fabrication, and plating presentation
- Experience in maintaining kitchen sanitation and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- High School diploma or equivalent; culinary school certification is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (Hours of service/operation are Tues-Thurs 5P-9P, Fri-Sat 5P-10P, Sun-Mon Closed, With exception to special occasions.)
