Seasonal 13 week position with Full Time schedule. This Pre-admission testing Registered Nurse position supports Surgical Services and Procedural Depts at Oro Valley Hospital in Tucson.
Be a part of our Preadmission department servicing surgical and procedural patients providing superior customer service. This position will require self motivation, strong communication skills and critical thinking.
What you'll do:
The RN in Pre-admission testing assesses patients preoperatively by phone to obtain health history and risks for anesthesia. Uses strong critical thinking skills to ascertain knowledge base and needs for the surgical patient.
Oro Valley Hospital has 6 OR's is an all private-room acute-care hospital. Our key services include a robust orthopedics program using the da Vinci robot - minimally invasive and robotic assisted joint replacement surgery, minimally invasive and robotic assisted general surgery, gastroenterology and many others!

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education: Required: Associates or Diploma in nursing program Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing
Licenses/Certifications: Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS
