Job Description
The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for growing sales of Orono Spectral Solutions' cutting-edge water sampling technology globally. This involves working with customers directly, as well as FTIR equipment manufacturers and distributors, through travel to customer sites and video conferencing.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute sales growth strategies.
- Close new sales by highlighting the commercial and technical advantages of our product line.
- Expand customer use by providing training on testing techniques and optimizing for different use cases.
- Develop expertise across multiple brands of FTIR equipment and build relationships with FTIR manufacturers and their distributors.
- Contribute to the creation of sales and technical materials for customers, incorporating innovative approaches in video, social media, and other business development technologies.
- Collaborate on developing new applications to meet customer needs.
- Assist in developing marketing campaigns and materials.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of sales experience in specialty technical products.
Education
- University degree in chemistry or related science.
- Experience with FTIR units is beneficial.
Work Environment
- The position is based at our facility in Hermon, Maine.
