The Role : Web Bindery Operator 1 / Stitcher Operator
Position Summary
This position will be working in a manufacturing facility, producing quality work with machines and by hand as efficiently as possible. It will be in a team atmosphere working as a team member. This Operator 1 Team Member will primarily take instruction from the Shift Lead / Supervisor.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
This position will be primarily responsible for efficiently operating a variety of machines located in the B-2 Web Bindery. Most of these machines will require a crew to operate. The responsibility of the crew safety starts with the primary operator. On occasion, this Operator 1 position will require leading a group of employees in a small work cell, where handwork is involved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following
- Large Machine Operation includes :
Right angle Buckle Folders; Saddle Stitchers; Guillotine Cutters; Collating Machines; etc.
Drills; Shrink Wrappers; Sewing Machines; Grommet Machines; etc.

Physical Demands
This job operates in a production environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as Presses, Machine Bindery Equipment, and forklifts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; drive; and see.
