Purpose of the Position:
Accurately putting together component parts or pieces while adhering to customer specifications. Verify correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble component parts or pieces to create a completed part in accordance with customer specifications
- Check completed parts for accuracy and defects
- Count and package products according to customer specifications
- Assemble boxes for shipments as needed
- Safely operate or use any required hand tools or machinery as needed
- Read and comprehend instructions and following established procedures
- Keep workstation clean and organized
- Cross train in other areas
- Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Ability to understand spoken and written English
- Ability to work overtime and needed
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for 8 plus hours daily
- Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion
- Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects
- Ability to lift 30 plus pounds repeatedly
- Ability to bend, stoop and walk frequently
Working Conditions
Temperature controlled facility
Personal Protective Equipment Required
Safety glasses at all times, safety gloves, non-slip work shoes, ear plus as necessary
