Purpose of the Position:
Accurately prep and repack completed products to prepare for shipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately repack parts into totes in accordance with customer requirements
- Perform basic visual inspection audit of parts to verify parts match part numbers and meet basic quality standards
- Perform manual and scale-counts to verify quantity of parts in totes match QPC
- Clean pallet tags and Kanban labels
- Read and comprehend instructions and following established procedures
- Keep workstation clean and organized
- Cross train in other areas
- Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Detailed oriented, organized, and motivated
- Ability to count and use scales
- Ability to understand spoken and written English
- Ability to work overtime and needed
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for 8 plus hours daily
- Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion
- Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects
- Ability to lift 30 plus pounds repeatedly
- Ability to bend, stoop and walk frequently
Working Conditions
Temperature controlled facility
Personal Protective Equipment Required
Safety glasses at all times, safety gloves, non-slip work shoes, ear plugs as necessary
