Job Summary
Pharmacy clerks are responsible for basic administrative and organizational tasks in a pharmaceutical setting.
Duties
- Answers telephones
- Assists customers
- Stocks shelves
- Operates cash registers and takes payments
- Keeps work area clean and sterilizes containers
- Prepares insurance forms
- Maintains patient profiles
- Performs other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to handle or feel objects. The employee is frequently required to walk or stand for extended periods, occasionally required to sit, balance; stoop, kneel or crouch.

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with help.
