- Previous scheduling experience in a health care environment is preferred (e.g., physician office, clinic or hospital
- Excellent Customer Service skills are required
- Must possess basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented
- Ability to multi- task and prioritize work
- Must be highly skilled in verbal communication, problem solving, prioritization and organization
- Must have proven ability to maintain professional conduct and confidentiality in the care of patients
- Bilingual preferred

Job Summary
The Service Line Coordinator will serve as a member of the healthcare team by overseeing a service line, including clinic operations, surgery and procedure scheduling, facilitating operating room schedule and overall improving efficiencies. The coordinator will serve as the liaison between the service line and Clinic Management.
Duties
- Oversees designated service line, including clinic flow, clinic operations, surgery and procedure scheduling, facilitation of operating room schedule, inpatient consults, etc.
- Monitors pending cases for designated service line on Surgical Dashboard
- Assists with scheduling efforts by auditing surgery dashboard and troubleshoot barriers to ensure timely scheduling
- Ensures all patient care needs are met by service line
- Helps identify problems, recommends and implements process improvements
- Ability to fill all roles within the clinic
- Communicates on a daily basis with Clinic Supervisor, Lead Clinic Scheduler, Clinic Team and Surgery Schedulers.
- Performs all duties in an independent manner with little or no need for direct supervision
- Complies with personnel policies and hospital safety policies
- Keep open lines of communication with the physicians, patients and management
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients and the public.
- Answers the phones in a professional and courteous manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
