JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a hands-on multi-cloud networking expert who can challenge current methods of cloud network architecture, refine solutions, and add real value while proactively contributing innovative ideas and solutions
As the sole architect driving multi-cloud networking at Client, you will introduce Google Cloud Platform and need to bring both consulting expertise and practical experience.
Work with client managers to manage and transform the overall Cloud Networking environment, starting with the implementation of the Google Cloud Platform environment.
This role requires someone who can independently work on issues, projects, and growth in this environment and guide the Client team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and optimize cloud networking architectures across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Manage and troubleshoot existing Azure Virtual Networks, AWS VPCs, and Google Cloud Platform VPCs.
- Architect secure and scalable multi-cloud connectivity, leveraging VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and Interconnect.
- Implement network security best practices, including cloud firewalls, WAF, micro-segmentation, and traffic inspection.
- Automate cloud network provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Optimize cloud networking for high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and cloud engineering teams to integrate networking solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot network performance issues, latency, and connectivity challenges across cloud environments.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in network design and deployment, with at least 5 years in cloud networking.
- Hands-on expertise in Azure Virtual WAN, AWS Transit Gateway, and Google Cloud Platform Cloud Router.
- Strong understanding of BGP, VPC Peering, PrivateLink, and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience with Cloud Load Balancers, NAT Gateway, and SD-WAN integrations.
- Solid knowledge of cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS Network Firewall, Azure Firewall, Google Cloud Platform Security Command Center).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., AWS VPC Flow Logs, Azure Network Watcher, Google Cloud Platform Network Intelligence Center).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for network automation.
- Certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer are a plus.
