Location: New York, NY (Hybrid 3\4 days onsite)

Job Description
This strategic sourcing manager will be responsible for leading the sourcing activities for projects across the Selling General and Administrative (SG&A) category. These services will include, but are not limited to, Financial Services, Professional Services and HR related services. The strategic sourcing manager analyzes data and works with internal business partners to identify opportunities, develop strategies, develop, and manage RFx's, and negotiate agreements in this area. Must have the ability to think analytically, work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze spend data from a variety of sources to develop and implement sourcing strategies.
- Build pricing models and financial analysis in support of negotiation strategies.
- Negotiate and implement deals that maximize cost savings, improve service levels, mitigate contractual risks, and creates/improves overall value for the category areas mentioned above.
- Manage RFx process utilizing sourcing best practices.
- Negotiate contracts with a focus on commercial terms
- Develop project plans, deliverables, metrics and milestones. Implement process disciplines and management systems necessary to achieve desired results.
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years procurement experience in a sophisticated sourcing environment.
- Bachelor s degree in business , law or related field..
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY; generally contributing from the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Strong proficiency in all stages of the sourcing life cycle (from market analysis to procure to pay), especially the negotiation of contractual agreements.
- Cost Modeling: Ability to understand cost drivers and how to break down cost structures

- Quantitative analytics skills including the ability to analyze complex data and build cost models.
