What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Documentation Specialist II position at Orrstown Bank?
Creates and delivers accurate loan documentation for new and renewed commercial and small business loans while ensuring that the final package correctly incorporates the terms and conditions of the credit approval document as well as internal and regulatory credit, compliance, and policy standards.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s Degree with an emphasis in business or business law and/or paralegal certification, or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in an office or operations environment which services and supports commercial lending functions.
- Solid understanding of commercial lending and credit functions.
- Working knowledge of Bank lending policies, commercial documentation, common legal terminology, Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, and applicable federal lending regulations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the various types of collateral related to typical and complex commercial loan documents and audit control procedures.
- Experience with LaserPro or other documentation software preferred.
