Position Summary
Manage the assigned commercial banking region to oversee the commercial loan portfolio, provide direct and indirect commercial lending services; ensure the efficient and effective servicing of commercial loans; implement strategies to achieve goals developed for the department as part of the Commercial Banking Team's annual operating plan; ensure the department's compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements; supervise account administration and maintenance, credit extension, and business development efforts of employees; directly supervise assigned personnel; communicate with appropriate management and staff personnel; provide periodic reports, maintain business and social contacts in the commercial banking region to develop new business and to retain existing banking relationships.
Qualifications
A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study preferred; specialized bank commercial lending education and training.
Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; thorough knowledge of current lending regulations; a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures that impact commercial loan services; a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank commercial loan products and services; demonstrated management and supervisory skills; able to work independently and in a team environment; visual and auditory skills.
A minimum of seven (7) years' experience in related lending positions normally required.
