Orrville Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is an 88-bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Orrville, Ohio. We are currently seeking an outgoing individual to lead our Activities Department and provide engaging group and individual activities for our guests. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the long term care setting in this role.
Duties :
- Develop and implement engaging activities and programs for residents
- Coordinate and schedule activities, ensuring a variety of options are available
- Conduct assessments
- Collaborate with social workers to address residents' needs
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members
