We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Family Law Paralegal to join our team in Dallas. In this role, you will support attorneys by preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files. Responsibilities also include effective communication with clients, assisting in trial preparation, and ensuring efficient organization of legal documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research and compile case-related information.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
- Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel regarding case updates.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Manage deadlines, schedules, and case-related tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certification (e.g., NALA, NFPA) or commensurate experience.
- Experience with trial preparation and filing procedures
- Strong understanding of family law matters.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
