Salary Range: $58K-$62K
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will focus on contracting efforts, Medicaid licensure, and credentialing needs. Implementation of agreement/amendments with internal and external partners. Develop and maintain relationships with Health Plan contacts.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & TRAINING
- Education or experience equivalent to a four-year college degree required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
- Must be able to mange time, prioritize, and multitask effectively.
- Must be pro-active and have good problem solving/analytical skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with data manipulation and analytic skills.
- Knowledge of managed care concepts with pharmacy and/or medical claims experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Leads contracting efforts through payor warm prospecting, and credentialing.
- Ensures accurate and complete contract implementation.
- Maintains current account files and other records with respect to current and prospective customers in accordance with Company instructions and requirements.
- Attends and participates in branch, company, and industry meetings as directed.
- Completes and submits all required reports in a timely manner.
- Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are established and met.
- Interact with third-party payers and vendors on a regular basis for resolution of out of network issues and/or payment discrepancies as outlined in contract.
- Develop, manage, and maintain ongoing contract relationships and develop innovative approaches to manage the implementation of different types of plans.
- Utilize organizational applications to troubleshoot and/or communicate contract status/requirements.
