We're seeking a talented Lean Materials Management Intern to join our mission: Changing Lives, One Test at a Time. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience, allowing you to gain knowledge and develop skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. You'll work closely with our team to apply your educational background and broaden your understanding within your role and learn more about working in the medical device/biotech industry.
The Role
This is a full-time, paid program for 12 weeks (40 hours/week). As a Lean Materials Management Intern, you'll have the opportunity to develop a Material Management solution for manufacturing components, implement Materials Flow Lean tools, and maintain material replenishment strategies using visual management systems. You'll also develop Standard Work to sustain improvements and perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual
We're looking for someone who:
- Is at least 18 years old.
- Is currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's or Master's program in the Fall Semester at an accredited university or college.
- Holds a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Can start on either June 2nd or June 16th.
- Can complete a consecutive 10-12 week internship.
- Has work authorization in the United States at the time of hire and maintains ongoing work authorization during employment.
- Has an Industrial Engineering field of study.
