Raw Material Manager

As a Raw Material Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, storage and distribution of inventories through the manufacturing operations. Ensure safety and material management process
Location: Onsite - Draper, UT
Schedule: Monday- Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Principal Responsibilities
- Overseeing the receiving, storage, and distribution of raw material
- Developing and implementing material management policies and procedures.
- Managing inventory and maintaining quality standards
- Ensuring materials are delivered on time to facilitate production schedules.
- Monitoring inventory levels, and managing the flow of materials through the manufacturing process
- Hiring and managing warehouse associates. Setting shift schedules and daily assignments
- Organizing and leading warehouse training.
- Supervising receiving procedure compliance.
- Following standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Identify and control expiry and slow-moving material
- Assure accuracy of inventories through execution of defined cycle count requirements
- Supervise receiving and shipping activities through work order completion
- Managing inventory, allocating shipments, overseeing loading and unloading of goods, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in supply chain management and inventory control
- BS degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in raw material management
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and regulated industries
- Proficiency in ERP systems, D365 a plus
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills required in the areas of verbal and written communications, customer focus and professionalism, self-starter
- Strong listening, questioning, problem-solving and assessment skills
