Payment Poster/Processor, OPA - Anchorage, Full - Time
Orthopedic Physicians Alaska seeks a highly skilled, dedicated and professional Payment & Claims Poster/Processor to join our rapidly growing and dynamic team. Representative duties
Balance incoming funds and reconcile daily deposits
Post large volume of daily payments/denials efficiently with attention to detail
Perform electronic claim corrections and submit claims daily without errors
Perform electronic (ERA) payment posting efficiently with attention to detail
Knowledge and skill requirements
Knowledge of primary and secondary coordination of benefits
Knowledge of basic billing procedures
Knowledge of HIPAA
Basic CPT and ICD-9/10 coding knowledge
Knowledge of claims processing for electronic and paper claims
Required qualifications
One (1) year of medical office experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred (in addition to required) qualifications
One (1) year of medical office experience working directly with medical insurance billing
