As a Billing Medical Records Representative with OrthoArizona, you will get to:
- Responsible for managing and maintaining accurate medical records and billing information for patients.
- Review and process medical records and billing information for accuracy and completeness.
- Responsible for locating claim numbers, payer portals, and contact payers to ensure documentation has been received. If documentation is missing or insufficient, will need to be corrected and resubmitted.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to medical records and billing.
- Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve billing and medical record issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in medical billing or medical records management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
