Position Overview

The Research Coordinator at OrthoArkansas plays a key role in supporting innovative spine research efforts by coordinating the data collection process, maintaining timelines, and ensuring compliance with all ethical and regulatory guidelines. This position focuses primarily on prospective studies involving radiographic data and provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate directly with a leading spine surgeon and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of data collection, including planning, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data, maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, team members and stakeholders regarding project progress.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on data findings as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned to support the overall success of the project.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, life sciences, social sciences) required.
    • Prior experience in clinical research coordination or project management preferred.
  • Skills & Abilities
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in data management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic research systems.
    • Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member in a fast-paced environment.
