General Description of Position :
The Physical Therapy Aide supports the physical and occupational therapy team by assisting in daily operations and patient care. This unlicensed team member works under the direct supervision of licensed therapists, aiding in the administration of various modalities, helping patients with exercises, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and supplies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Clinic Maintenance :
Fold, organize, and distribute towels and pillowcases throughout the clinic.
Greet patients, escort them from the lobby to therapy areas, and prepare them for therapy sessions.
Assist with scheduling patient appointments.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED.
Basic word processing and typing skills.
Preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
