OrthoAtlanta is seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to work with a fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon in our Battery and Cartersville Locations. The Physician Assistant will assist the physician in office and hospital settings (Piedmont Atlanta and Piedmont Cartersville), independent clinics seeing patients with a variety of orthopedic injuries and illnesses, assisting in the operating room as needed, performing emergency room and hospital consultations, rounding and call duties. Candidates should be flexible and have a strong desire to work both independently and as a team member. Excellent assessment skills and a strong work ethic are required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Ability to be licensed by the State of Georgia.
- Must be able to work independently and work well with co-workers
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with flexible and creative approach
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to communicate professionally and effectively with all member of the healthcare team as well as in simple, concise and soothing language to patients and families
