We are currently searching for a Clinic Supervisor to work with our OrthoCarolina Indian Land office location in Charlotte.
The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for directing, supervising and coordinating staff and activities at OrthoCarolina designated Practice sites to provide quality, cost-effective care for our patients.

Essential Functions:
  • Manages the day-to-day operations at the Practice site and coordinates work activities and schedules to maximize total Practice potential.
  • Works with physicians and staff to administer clinic policies and procedures and in a consistent and timely manner and is consistent with OrthoCarolina mission, vision and values, to create optimal patient experience within their center with a focus on customer service.
  • Oversees and monitors patient flow, ensuring that it occurs in an efficient, cost-effective manner, Researches and responds timely to patient complaints.
  • Coordinates with Human Resources and department managers/leads for recruiting, hiring, orientating, training, evaluating and disciplining, when necessary, of Practice personnel.
  • Supports employee development and Practice growth through corporate in-services, appropriate seminars and classes with the approval of the Practice Administrator and/or Director of Clinic Operations.
  • Serves as a liaison between OrthoCarolina administration and staff to support consistent operation procedures, keeps manuals updated and keeps clear instructions for floating personnel on basic Practice procedure.
  • Reviews credit and collection problems from patient encounters at the Practice. Works with the Business Office to resolve the issues/enforce policies.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques.
  • Knowledge of office management techniques and practices.
  • Skill in gathering, analyzing and evaluating data.
  • Ability to apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Ability to establish priorities, standard operating procedures and coordinate work activities.
  • Knowledge of office management techniques and practices.
  • Skill in managing multiple priorities and projects.
  • Skill in professional presentation.
  • Knowledge of record keeping and reporting methods.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in health/business administration preferred. 7 years of medical office management experience will be considered in place of BS.
  • Five years of applicable experience in total.
  • Two years of management experience.
  • Two years of health care industry experience.
